2007

Freelance Art Dept for film & Stylist at Urban Caprice

I spent several years working in art departments for music videos, shorts and feature film. Following on from this, I worked as a production design assistant and stylist for high-end events company Urban Caprice (Caprice Holdings).

 

2009

Award-Winning Restaurant Owner

In 2009 I left London for Lyme Regis, where I opened my own restaurant 'The Mill Tea & Dining Room', which won The Good Food Guide's best restaurant in the South-West in 2011.

During this time I also wrote regular blogs and comedy columns for  Dorset Magazine and Stalking Elk Magazine.

 

2011

Branded Content Producer

 In 2011 I helped establish an ambitious new film production company Averner Films, which delivers content for premium brands, and which has sold a screenplay story edited by me (un-credited) to Pinewood Pictures. (Camera Trap, released 2015).

I worked as a producer of branded content for such clients as Make ArchitectsAvonSir Paul SmithThe Montreaux Jazz Cafe, Letaka Safaris and De Beers

 

2014 - Now

Freelance Screenwriter

My first feature-length film script (Marriages at Claridge's) was a sucessful submission to the BBC Writersroom  and I am now working with a development producer there. My second feature-length script, (Alderney) reached the semi-finals of the Screen-craft Horror Competition 2015 and Quarter-finals of the Final Draft ‘Big Break’ Competition 2015. My TV Pilots (Salt-Boxer and The Tide Line) reached the Semi-finals of the Screencraft TV Pilot Comeptitionin 2015 & 2016


I also write scripts for branded content, viral campaigns, explainers and animated & live-action online advertising for clients including: 

Harrods, BitSmith GamesBritish Standards Institute, 3M, Billhub, BathstoreJTI, LinxMBNA Property Partner, Kingfisher, B&Q, National Geographic Traveller, and the NHS.
